МГУ
Today I went to МГУ proper, and saw the gigantic main building full of everything you'll ever need.
The tour guide said the building was designed so that you it had everything you need inside it and a student never had to leave the university during his or her years of study.

Привет из России!
Hello friends!
Приет друзья! (Но я думаю, что только Саша может понимать русский язык и прочитает эту хаха.)
I arrived in Moscow on Sunday, and immediately something went wrong. They left my friggin' bag in New York.
So that was not the greatest of starts and it made me super nervous to not have any clothes, etc. and not know when I'd get them, but, alas, yesterday my suitcase arrived in the afternoon at my dorm and all is okay.
Moscow is beautiful. I'm staying in the university dorms, and this is a nicer part of town, but there is a huge strip of parks along my street and they're really nice. I wish I went running, so I could better utilize them or something.
Eh, whatever.
The dorm itself and most of the surrounding buildings seem pretty standard Soviet style - big concrete blocks. However, the insides are actually quite nice, and I think my room is particularly nice even compared to the US. There's no AC, but the weather is perfect, so I needn't worry for now.
The sun is up at 5 and only really sets at around 23, and it's really bizarre for me right now. I've been waking up really early (hence how I know when the sun rises), and it's been really nice to walk around to the couple stores on the street in early morning light.
Also, for the record, the чёрный хлеб is sooo gooddddd.
